Turkmenistan national team defender Vepa Jumayev has become the first foreign player in the history of the Uzbek football club “Aral”, which plays in the Pro League (second division), the team's press service reported.
The 25-year-old footballer has extensive experience playing abroad. Last season, Jumayev played for Belarusian club “Vitebsk”, and before that, he played for Belarusian clubs Lokomotiv and “Energetik-BGU”. He began his career with Ashgabat's “Kopetdag”.
Since 2023, Jumayev has played for the Turkmenistan national team, where he has played six matches and scored one goal.
