During their visit to Ashgabat, a delegation from the State of Qatar, led by Salem Nasser Al-Naimi, Rector of the Doha University of Science and Technology, visited the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan and the Oguz han University of Engineering and Technology of Turkmenistan, where they met with the university leadership. This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.

During the meetings, the Qatari side presented specific proposals for developing cooperation. In particular, special attention was paid to the implementation of joint projects in digital technologies, engineering, information security, and innovative educational programs.

The guests enthusiastically accepted the proposals put forward by the Turkmen side and declared their full readiness for their practical implementation.

The visit of the Doha University of Science and Technology delegation follows the official visit of the Turkmen delegation led by Turkmenistan's Minister of Education, J. Gurbangeldyev, to Doha in 2024.
