President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed Resolution No. 1629 approving the Regulation “On licensing of transportation activities by road transport.”

The document introduces simplified requirements and conditions for obtaining a license to carry out cargo transportation by road. The list of required documents has also been streamlined.

The Ministry of Road Transport of Turkmenistan will begin accepting documents from individuals and legal entities in January 2026. Applications are being accepted through a communication system in the country's regions.
