On December 19, 2025, the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction held a training session on the use of artificial intelligence technologies in architecture and design.
The event was organized by the Department of Architecture under the direction of professors Asha Gubayeva and Shirmuhammed Jepbarov. Faculty and students from several higher education institutions in Turkmenistan participated in the online class.
Participants were presented with information on the application of artificial intelligence in architectural design, digital modeling of urban environments, and interior and exterior design. Particular attention was paid to modern digital design platforms, generative design, and 3D modeling.
The practical portion of the session showcased examples of using AI technologies to optimize construction solutions and reduce design time. Participants discussed the potential of using artificial intelligence to develop the creative and engineering skills of future professionals.
Following the event, participants noted the relevance of the topic and expressed a desire for similar classes to be held regularly. The organizers see this event as part of the process of integrating digital technologies into the country's architectural education system.
