The deep strategic partnership between Tajikistan and Turkmenistan is steadily developing, with interaction between the two countries demonstrating positive dynamics in all areas of bilateral cooperation, according to Tajikistan's Ambassador to Ashgabat, Vafo Niyatbekzoda.

"It is gratifying that today, the time-tested relationship of deep strategic partnership between Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, based on strong ties of friendship and mutual understanding, is showing a trend of steady development. "Today, our interaction is showing positive momentum in all areas of bilateral cooperation. We are very confident about the prospects for developing Tajik-Turkmen relations, which Tajikistan has always placed particular importance on," the newspaper "Neutral Turkmenistan" quotes the diplomat as saying.

The ambassador noted that Turkmenistan's neutrality is a model of socio-political stability and interethnic harmony, a reliable factor in ensuring sustainable development. He stated that over the years, the Turkmen model of neutrality has proven its viability and makes a significant contribution to promoting friendly and open cooperation with all countries of the world.

Niyatbekzoda emphasized that Turkmenistan, by promoting peace initiatives, demonstrates a commitment to uniting efforts, promoting peace and unity among the peoples of all countries, and strengthening peace and harmony, thereby deservedly enhancing its authority in the international arena.

The diplomat recalled the words of Tajik President Emomali Rahmon: "Independent, neutral Turkmenistan makes a significant contribution to strengthening global peace, security, and stability. The policy of positive neutrality underpins Turkmenistan's ever-growing prestige in the international arena."

These words, according to the ambassador, demonstrate that Tajikistan, as a close friend and reliable partner, firmly supports Turkmenistan's policy of positive neutrality, respects its independently chosen path of development, and supports the most important peacekeeping initiatives of its fraternal state.

Vafo Niyatbekzoda congratulated President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the anniversary of neutrality and wished them good health and the successful implementation of large-scale reforms and national programs, as well as peace and prosperity to the entire Turkmen people.
