The second international volunteer program, "Mission Good," has begun in Turkmenistan, with the participation of doctors from RZD-Medicine.
The Russian medical team included leading specialists in various fields: Professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences, cardiac surgeon Zaur Shugushev; Associate Professor, Candidate of Medical Sciences, and physician of the highest qualification category Sergei Cheremushkin; surgeon Kamil Veliev; Candidate of Medical Sciences, ophthalmologist of the highest qualification category Olga Dovgileva; Candidate of Medical Sciences, neurologist Larisa Davydova; and obstetrician-gynecologist Natalya Davydenko.
Within the framework of the mission, specialists will visit medical centers and institutions in Turkmenistan and conduct master classes and lectures for local colleagues and medical students.
The Mission Dobro program has been implemented by Rossotrudnichestvo and the Dobro.RF Association since 2021. Within the framework of the project, Russian specialists from various fields—healthcare, education, culture, and the environment—provide assistance to people and organizations around the world. Since its inception, the initiative has conducted approximately 50 missions, reaching over 15 thousand people in 20 countries.
