Faculty from the Aba Annaev International Academy of Horse Breeding visited the Slovak Republic on a working visit. Novruz Myratdurdyev, a lecturer in the Department of Equestrian Sports, Tourism, and National Equestrian Games, and Dovranmyrat Begmyradov, a researcher in the Department of Natural Sciences and Computer Technology, participated in an international training seminar at the University of Agriculture in Nitra.
The event took place from 3 to 6 November 2025 within the framework of the “Green Deal for Central Asian Universities” (GDCAU) project of the Erasmus+ programme.
The seminar included methodological sessions and an exchange of experiences on integrating the UN Sustainable Development Goals into curricula, improving existing courses, introducing two new disciplines into the curriculum, and developing a joint master's program. Academy representatives presented reports on the structure, content, and expected outcomes of the curricula, as well as modern teaching methods.
On November 6, the Academy's delegation visited the Equine Breeding Center of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra, where they learned about horse training, horse jumping, and equine disease examination and diagnosis.
As a result of the seminar, the curricula for a number of disciplines were improved and the professional qualifications of the university's teachers were enhanced.
