Professor Klaus Georg Parkhofer, an experienced endocrinologist at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (Germany), is currently on a working visit to Turkmenistan and sharing his experience with local doctors, according to the newspaper "Turkmenistan."
During his visit, he also visited the Arkadag Multidisciplinary Hospital and learned about the facilities there. The German professor spoke with the clinic's patients and inquired about their health. He also participated in developing a patient recovery plan and discussed new approaches to endocrinology with the doctors working there.
To share best practices in this area of medicine, a scientific and practical conference, "Transitional States of Common Endocrine Pathologies," was held at Arkadag Hospital with the participation of a German professor and local endocrinologists.
In his speech at the conference, Klaus Georg Parkhofer drew attention to innovative approaches to the treatment of metabolic syndrome and diabetes mellitus and shared his experience in this area.
