The Embassy of Turkmenistan took part in the III Asian Culture Festival in the Romanian capital, organized by diplomatic missions of Asian countries with the assistance of the Dimitrie Gusti National Village Museum. This was reported by the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.
The event brought together representatives of Romanian government agencies, the diplomatic corps, public organizations, the media and residents of Bucharest.

The stand of the Turkmen embassy presented national costumes, carpets, embroideries and musical instruments. Guests were particularly interested in modern designer interpretations of traditional clothing, harmoniously combining centuries-old traditions and fashion trends.
Within the framework of the cultural program, a Turkmen musician performed folk pieces on the dutar.

Special attention was paid to the literary heritage of Turkmenistan. Visitors were introduced to the works of the President of Turkmenistan and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, as well as the works of the classic of Turkmen poetry Magtymguly Fragi in translations into various languages, including Romanian.
The festival concluded with an exhibition entitled “Asian Cuisine,” where guests were able to try national dishes from all participating countries.
