In Ashgabat, reconstruction work on Gorogly street is nearing completion on the section from the intersection with Bekreve street to the turnoff to Taslama street. The opening of the renovated road is scheduled for early September.
According to city services, within the framework of the reconstruction, the street was significantly widened, which will significantly improve its capacity and more effectively cope with the growing traffic flow in this area of the city.

One of the key innovations was the construction of an additional underground passage next to the new International University of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. This will ensure safe and convenient movement for students, teachers and residents of the area.
The project also included completely renovating bus stops and installing modern barriers separating pedestrian crossings from the roadway. These measures are aimed at improving road safety for both pedestrians and drivers.

Let us remind that traffic on this section of Gorogly street was temporarily restricted due to large-scale work to improve the road infrastructure. During the reconstruction, an alternative route via Magtymguly street (Svoboda avenue) was proposed for the convenience of motorists.
