Several higher education institutions in Turkmenistan are developing specialized educational programs on artificial intelligence, information technology and blockchain technologies, the “Turkmenistan” newspaper reported.
The relevant information was presented on August 23 in the conference room of the Magtymguly Turkmen State University during a meeting of the country's education workers. The event was dedicated to summing up the results of the 2024-2025 academic year and discussing the tasks for the upcoming 2025-2026 academic year.
The report was given by the acting head of the cybersecurity department of the Yagshygeldy Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas, candidate of technical sciences Maksat Churiev. He spoke about the issues of using artificial intelligence in the education system and the positive experience achieved in this area.
According to Churiev, the development of specialized educational programs is carried out on the basis of the instructions of the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on training young people in the field of artificial intelligence, IT and blockchain technologies.
As noted, new educational programs are of great importance both for raising the level of education of young people and for training specialists in accordance with the requirements of a modern market economy.
