Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan intend to jointly confront modern challenges and threats.
Following the trilateral meeting in the “Avaza” National Tourist Zone at the highest level, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev adopted a Joint Statement of Turkmenistan, the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Uzbekistan. The document was published on the State News Agency of Turkmenistan website.
“The parties stressed the importance of maintaining close contacts at the highest and high levels, interaction in the foreign policy activities of the three countries and deepening cooperation in the area of jointly countering modern challenges and threats,” the statement said.
