Registration is currently underway for the 10th Caspian media forum on the topic “History of the Caspian: from the past to the future”, which will take place on August 22 in Astrakhan.
The forum will bring together government officials, experts, journalists and public figures from the Caspian region to discuss current issues – from geopolitics and logistics to ecology and the role of media in international cooperation, reports radiovolna.fm.
The organizers are the Government of the Astrakhan Region with the support of federal agencies, including the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.
The forum will also include an awards ceremony for the winners of the “Caspian Sea Without Borders” journalism competition.
