Today, Turkmenistan is widely celebrating the second anniversary of the commissioning of the smart city of Arkadag, built using the most modern technologies.
In this regard, various events are currently being held in Arkadag.
With the opening of the city of Arkadag on June 29, 2023, thousands of citizens of the country were provided with new jobs and comfortable housing. During the first stage of the city's construction, 336 cultural, social and other facilities were built. Digital technologies have been introduced in the comfortable buildings of the city.
The city has created all the necessary conditions for realizing the potential of young people.
Let us remind that on June 16, 2023, the ceremony of laying the first stone of the second stage of construction of the new city took place with the participation of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
Currently, the city's construction work is proceeding at a rapid pace. At this stage, residential buildings with all amenities, industrial and production facilities, as well as cultural and community buildings will be built and put into operation in 2027.
The city of Arkadag has a special legal status of “city of national importance”.
