Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will make an official visit to Turkmenistan on June 24-25. This was announced by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova on the sidelines of the SPIEF, TASS reports.
As Zakharova noted, high-level negotiations are planned within the framework of the trip. The parties will discuss prospects for the development of bilateral relations, including expanding cooperation in the trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian fields.
The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum is taking place from June 18 to 21. The delegation of Turkmenistan to the SPIEF is headed by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Nokerguly Atagulyev, who oversees trade, textile industry, and private sector development.
