President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov left today for a working visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan to participate in the second Central Asia-China Summit, which is being held in Astana. The President's plane landed at the Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport in Astana, where Serdar Berdimuhamedov was warmly welcomed by Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov, other officials and members of the Turkmen delegation.
Turkmenistan's foreign policy attaches great importance to the development of bilateral and multilateral relations with the People's Republic of China.
The first summit in the "Central Asia - China" format was held in May 2023 in the Chinese city of Xi'an. At that time, the President of Turkmenistan made a number of proposals for the further development of interregional cooperation in various areas by coordinating the efforts of all participants.
