The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Minsk held an event at the Republican Rehabilitation Center for Disabled Children, dedicating it to the International Year of Peace and Trust.

The event was attended by the director of the center Lyudmila Kondrashova, Ambassador of Turkmenistan Nazarguly Shagulyev, representative of the CIS Executive Committee Elena Shamal, employees of the Embassy and Turkmen students studying in Belarus.

Lyudmila Kondrashova, opening the meeting, shared her impressions of participating in the International Conference in the city of Arkadag, dedicated to issues of peace and trust in the name of children.

Ambassador Nazarguly Shagulyev told the children about the national traditions and values of Turkmenistan, emphasizing deep respect for the historical heritage.

The video demonstrated to the children the impressive achievements of Turkmenistan during the years of neutrality.

Turkmen students studying at Minsk universities performed folk songs and a fiery national dance "kushtdepdi", which caused genuine delight on the children's faces.

Within the framework of the event, a photo exhibition was organized, introducing children to the rich history, art, nature and modern architecture of Turkmenistan.
