“Paris Saint-Germain” sensationally beat “Inter” Milan 5-0 in the 2024/25 Champions League final, becoming the first club in the club's history to win the main European trophy. The match took place at the “Munich Arena” in front of more than 70 thousand spectators.
The French giants dominated the field from the first minutes of the match. Already in the 12th minute, defender Achraf Hakimi opened the scoring after an accurate pass from winger Desire Douai. Eight minutes later, Douai himself doubled the Parisians' advantage, demonstrating a high level of team play.
In the second half, “PSG” continued to attack. In the 63rd minute, Douai scored a double, and ten minutes later, Georgian winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia brought the score to a rout. The final point in the match was put by Mayulu, who came on as a substitute in the 86th minute.
“Inter”, despite having solid experience in European competitions, was unable to put up a decent fight against the French team and suffered its biggest defeat in the Champions League final in recent years.
For “Paris Saint-Germain”, the victory was a historic achievement - the club became European champions for the first time, and also set a record as the first team to win the Champions League final by five goals.
