The conference “Biotechnology – a promising area”, held at the International Scientific and Technological Park of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, brought together leading specialists from scientific and educational institutions of the country.
As reported by "Turkmenistan: Golden Age", the participants discussed key aspects of the development of biotechnology and its practical application. These included issues of modern biotechnology education for schoolchildren, the specifics of the reproduction of valuable medicinal plants of Kopetdag using the in vitro method, as well as the role of modern biotechnology in various industries.
Particular attention was paid to innovations in the food industry, including technologies for producing lyophilized products, as well as the synthesis of important vitamins from natural raw materials, the source notes.
