Director General of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan M. Chakyev reported at the next meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on the progress of creating a system of interdepartmental electronic information exchange within the framework of the implementation of the State Program for the Development of the Digital Economy, TDH reports.
According to the head of the department, the Türkmenaragatnaşyk agency is carrying out the necessary work to implement a system that will provide broad access to information and increase the number of electronic services available to citizens of the country. In this regard, a corresponding proposal was submitted to the president for consideration.
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, having heard the report, emphasized the importance of consistent development of the digital economy, the transition of all industries to a digital system and the widespread introduction of innovative technologies in production. The head of the Agency was instructed to continue effective work in this direction.
