Vice President for Medical Activities of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care Oguljahan Atabayeva made a working visit to the Ahal velayat, where she visited several medical institutions specializing in the treatment and rehabilitation of children, TDH reports.

During the visit, Atabayeva got acquainted with the work of the Rehabilitation Educational and Training Complex, a multidisciplinary hospital and the Center for the Protection of Mother and Child Health in the region. Particular attention was paid to modern methods of restoring the health of children with disabilities and creating the necessary conditions for their harmonious development.

At the Rehabilitation Complex, the Vice President of the Foundation inspected various specialized rooms, including early intervention, speech therapy, physical and occupational therapy, as well as creative activities. She noted the importance of a comprehensive approach to rehabilitation, combining medical procedures with the development of creative and cognitive abilities of patients.

“The use of advanced methods plays a significant role in the successful rehabilitation of children,” Oguljahan Atabayeva emphasized, giving specialists recommendations on further improving their work and implementing global practices.

In the maternity ward of the multidisciplinary hospital and the Center for Maternal and Child Health, the Vice President of the Foundation paid special attention to the issues of equipping the institutions and the qualifications of the medical personnel. She emphasized that the health of the mother is a key factor in the formation of a healthy generation.

At the end of the visit, Oguljahan Atabayeva presented gifts from the Charity Foundation to children involved in art and music and wished them a speedy recovery and active participation in the life of society.
