President of Turkmenistan prepares for working visit to Japan, Organizing committee for preparation for 34th anniversary of independence created in Turkmenistan, Ashgabat to host international belt wrestling competitions and other news

1. During a government meeting, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov spoke about preparations for the upcoming working visit of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to Japan. All necessary measures are currently being taken to ensure a high organizational level of the upcoming trip of the head of state. The head of state instructed the Minister of Foreign Affairs to ensure a high level of preparation for the upcoming visit to the friendly country.
2. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a Resolution on the establishment of the Organizing Committee, which will be responsible for the preparation and holding of festive events in honor of the 34th anniversary of the country's independence, and also approved its composition. The Committee is instructed to ensure that the celebrations are held at a high organizational level.
3. An international forum aimed at attracting foreign investment to the economy of Turkmenistan will be held in Kuala Lumpur on April 23-24. As Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported at a government meeting, about 300 delegates from 30 countries have already registered to participate in the event. Preparations for the forum are ongoing, and meetings of members of the Turkmen delegation with representatives of foreign companies interested in establishing cooperation are also planned.
4. Turkmenistan intends to hold an exhibition of its goods in May this year in the Iranian city of Gurgen. This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Noker Atagulyev. The exhibition will feature export-oriented goods from various sectors of the national economy, as well as products manufactured by members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.

5. Design studio Belli Creative has unveiled the design for the Turkmenistan pavilion for the World Expo 2025 in Osaka, which will open on April 13. The pavilion features a distinctive architectural style with a soft triangular shape, symbolizing renewal, sustainable development and the continuous flow of life. The World Expo 2025 will be held from April 13 to October 13, 2025. Turkmenistan National Day at Expo 2025 is scheduled for April 14, the day after the grand opening of the exhibition.
6. The winners of the drawing competition dedicated to the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality were awarded at the Magtymguly Fragi School in the Volga District of the Astrakhan Region. Schoolchildren from grades 1 to 9 participated in the competition. Young artists reflected in their works the themes of peace, good neighborliness, friendship between peoples and were inspired by the idea of neutrality. The winners and prize-winners were awarded diplomas, memorable souvenirs and valuable gifts. Some works were awarded special prizes from the Consulate of Turkmenistan.

1. In the entire history of manned flights, 631 people from 43 countries have visited space, including 82 women from 13 countries. These data include both professional cosmonauts and astronauts, as well as space tourists. According to statistics, the undisputed leader in the number of people who have made space flights is the United States with 369 representatives. 1. The Olympic town of Ashgabat will host international competitions in national wrestling and belt wrestling "Alysh" from April 22 to 25. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Bayramgul Orazdurdyeva reported on the preparations for this sporting event. According to the Deputy Prime Minister, a special working group has been created under the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Physical Culture and Sports, which includes representatives of relevant ministries and industry departments. Organizational work is currently underway in accordance with the approved plan of events.
