The OSCE Centre in Ashgabat is organizing a two-day training course on mobile journalism and media content production on smartphones on April 16-17. The event will bring together media representatives from Turkmenistan and OSCE expert trainers from Russia and Tajikistan.
The course program covers a wide range of topics: from modern media trends and the philosophy of mobile journalism to practical skills in creating various content formats using a smartphone. Participants will master mobile photography and videography techniques, learn to create infographics, caption videos and other visual formats.
Particular attention will be paid to the ethical aspects of journalistic work: fact-checking, verification of information and rules for using third-party materials. The final session is devoted to the use of artificial intelligence in mobile journalism - participants will learn about the available tools, capabilities and potential risks of using AI.
The training is based on an intensive program and includes 13 thematic sessions with practical tasks and analysis of the results of the participants’ work.
