A new automobile bridge has been built in China, which will become the highest in the world. The structure reaches a height of 625 meters above sea level and stretches for almost 3 kilometers in length, “MIR 24” reports.
The bridge spans the Huajiang Canyon and the Beipan River. Now, it only takes one minute to get to the other side. In terms of its parameters, it surpasses the previous record holder, the Duzhe Bridge, located 200 kilometers upstream on the same river.
The grand opening of the new bridge is scheduled for June of this year.
