Turkmen-Kazakh relations based on the bonds of friendship, brotherhood and good neighborliness are developing in a wide range of areas, said Kazakh Minister of Health Akmaral Alnazarova at a meeting with Vice President for Medical Activities of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care Oguljahan Atabayeva, TDH reports.

The head of the Kazakh Ministry of Health noted the importance of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care in strengthening humanitarian ties in the region and the world.

As was emphasized, the Charitable Foundation regularly allocates funds for various surgical operations for children in need of care in healthcare institutions in the capital and velayats, for the treatment of young Turkmen citizens raised and educated in orphanages, specialized schools and boarding schools, as well as for the purchase of medical supplies for them.

“Sending humanitarian aid to a number of countries around the world is a vivid example of the important role of the Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care in the development and strengthening of friendly relations between states,” the agency said in a statement.

During the meeting, Vice President for Medical Activities of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care Oguljahan Atabayeva and Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan Akmaral Alnazarova expressed confidence in the further successful development of bilateral cooperation in the field of healthcare.
