The “Berkarar” cinema in Ashgabat will become a unique venue where movie lovers can immerse themselves in the world of exciting Russian films. From March 28 to 30, the Russian Film Festival will be held here, organized by ROSKINO with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.

Turkmenistan will be the first CIS country to host this large-scale film forum. Spectators will have unforgettable meetings with the heroes of their favorite films, immersion in fairy-tale worlds and acquaintance with the latest releases from Russian film distribution.

Within the framework of the festival "Russian Film Festival Turkmenistan 2025", viewers will be able to enjoy four films, including family blockbusters and an animated film for young viewers.

One of the main events will be the screening of the family fairy tale "Finist. The First Bogatyr", which has already won the hearts of Russian viewers and entered the top three highest-grossing films of 2025. Director Dmitry Dyachenko, known for his work on the franchise "The Last Bogatyr" and the film "Cheburashka", will once again delight viewers with exciting adventures and spectacular special effects.

Fairy tale lovers will enjoy the film "Tinderbox" by director Alexander Voitinsky, based on the work by Hans Christian Andersen. Let us recall that the director's previous work, the film "By the Pike's Command", was very popular at last year's festival in Turkmenistan.

The unique project "Fire Fox" by director Dmitry Shpilenok, combining documentary and artistic elements, will allow viewers to immerse themselves in the beauty of Kamchatka's wild nature and learn the amazing story of the fox cub Veter.

Young viewers will enjoy the animated film "The Big Journey. Around the World" by director Vasily Rovensky. This cartoon is a continuation of the popular franchise about the adventures of the bear Mik-Mik and his friends, which has won the love of viewers around the world.
