1. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated the country's Muslims on the arrival of Gadyr Gijesi - the Night of Omnipotence. In his address, the head of state emphasized the spiritual and moral significance of this special date, noting its role in strengthening the unity and cohesion of society. The President recalled that the Turkmen people, like the entire Islamic world, have since ancient times respected the blessed month of Oraza and the Night of Omnipotence. On this day, tarawa prayers are performed in the country's mosques, blessings are offered for peace, prosperity and stability of the state.
2. A meeting was held between the Vice President for Medical Activities of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care, Oguljahan Atabayeva, with the Deputy Prime Minister in charge of culture, as well as with female heads of the mass media of Turkmenistan. During the meeting, the organizational status and significance of the International Conference “Year of Peace and Trust: Development of International Activities in the Interests of Children”, which will be held on the occasion of the fourth anniversary of the establishment of the Charitable Foundation, were discussed in detail.
3. Relations between Turkmenistan and China maintain stable dynamics and are constantly deepening in various areas. This was stated by the Chairman of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping in a letter to the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the occasion of the Novruz holiday. "Currently, Chinese-Turkmen relations maintain a stable development momentum, cooperation within the framework of the joint construction of the "One Belt - One Road" continues to advance, interaction in various areas is constantly deepening," the PRC Chairman wrote.
4. President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the head of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the holiday of Novruz and expressed confidence in the further expansion of bilateral ties. "I cordially congratulate you on the wonderful holiday of Novruz, which is a symbol of the revival of nature and a new stage in life, faith in a better future. I am confident that the friendly relations that have developed between Belarus and Turkmenistan will contribute to the further expansion of bilateral ties in all areas for the benefit of the peoples of our states,” Lukashenko noted.
5. Diyar Ykhtiyarov, a teacher at the Department of Biology and Methods of Teaching at the Seyitnazar Seydi Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute, won an international competition organized by the Scientific Academy research center and the Youth Support Center of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The young scientist presented a scientific paper entitled "Strengthening the Environmental Well-Being of the States Located Along the Great Silk Road." His research was unanimously approved by the scientific council and received high marks.
6. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held a meeting with the new Country Director of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Turkmenistan Chinwe Ogbonna. Rashid Meredov wished the diplomat success and new achievements in her mission aimed at developing cooperation between Turkmenistan and this international structure. During the meeting, the parties noted the high level of interaction and agreed on further development of cooperation.

1. The Turkmenistan national football team beat the Chinese Taipei team in an away match of the first round of the 2027 Asian Cup qualifying round. The group D match ended with a score of 2:1. The winners included Ahal forward Elman Tagayev and Arkadag midfielder Yazgylych Gurbanov. In the next round, Turkmenistan will host Thailand on June 10, while the Chinese Taipei team will play away against Sri Lanka. It is worth noting that this is the first victory of the Turkmenistan team in an official match since June 2022, when they beat Bangladesh away.
