On February 4, a meeting was held at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Islamabad with the Chairman of Tabani Group Humza Yaqub Tabani and the Executive Director Hatim Yaqub Tabani. This was reported on the website of the Turkmen Embassy.
Ambassador A. Movlamov spoke about the peacekeeping policy of the leadership of Turkmenistan, including the implementation of the Concept of Activities and Priorities of Turkmenistan within the framework of the International Year of Peace and Trust. It was noted that UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres fully supported this Concept, noting its importance in the international arena.
The ambassador also emphasized the importance of implementing joint energy projects that will contribute to strengthening peace and security in the region and beyond.
The Tabani Group executives highly appreciated the foreign and domestic policies of Turkmenistan and expressed their desire to take an active part in strengthening relations between Pakistan and Turkmenistan, providing all possible assistance in developing and expanding trade and economic ties between the two countries, the source notes.
