The US Embassy in Turkmenistan intends to hold a number of cultural events in 2025. This was stated by the US Ambassador to Turkmenistan Elizabeth Rood in an interview for the media, reports “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.
In particular, Ms. Rood said:
- This year we will hold a number of events under the concept of the “International Year of Peace and Trust”. Culture, including music, helps build a bridge of trust between different nations. All our initiatives are aimed at supporting dialogue about peace.
The Ambassador added that this year, projects will also continue within the framework of the US Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation.
At the moment, the Fund has already supported 30 projects in Turkmenistan, and now a competition is underway for the next project, the source notes.
