The city of Arkadag hosted the international festival New Year Fest 2025, where students of the International Academy of Horse Breeding presented a variety of national cuisines of the world.
The event was organized by the UNESCO club “Ahal-Teke horses – ambassadors of peace”, the official website of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
The participants demonstrated the culinary traditions of eight countries, including Turkmenistan, India, China, France, Russia, Germany, Uzbekistan and Turkey. The festival was attended by Chinar Rustemova, executive secretary of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO.
Following the event, the jury determined and awarded the authors of the best culinary presentations. The festival became a vivid example of cultural exchange between countries and peoples on the eve of the New Year.
