Among visitors to the Dashoguz Museum of History and Local Lore, the number of foreign guests arriving in the region through tourism has increased.

– This is one of the results of the successful cooperation of our museum with the country’s travel agencies. Active cooperation between tourism organizations and museums not only opens up new opportunities, but also contributes to the popularization of the rich national heritage. We, in turn, strive to familiarize visitors with the museum exhibits as fully as possible, to reveal their full significance and value. We, the employees, are pleased that many guests find themselves acquainted with the museums of Turkmenistan through the Internet, including the website “Virtual Museums of Turkmenistan”.

The museum constantly has such exhibitions as: archaeological and ethnographic, nature and fine arts, modern development of the country.
