1. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk, who arrived in Ashgabat on an official visit to participate in a meeting of the co-chairs of the Turkmen-Russian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation. During the meeting, an interested exchange of views took place on priority aspects of bilateral cooperation.
2. A working meeting of the heads of transport departments of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan was held in Bukhara, where an agreement was reached on creating favorable conditions for national carriers. An agreement was also reached on the introduction of an electronic system for exchanging permit forms "E-permit", which should simplify the process of transportation between the two countries.
3. The delegation of Turkmenistan took part in the OSCE Economic and Environmental Dimension Implementation Meeting. The main discussions focused on sustainable use of water resources and regional stability, with special attention paid to technological solutions.
4. Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba has announced plans to meet with Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at the World Expo 2025 in Osaka. In his message to the Turkmen leader, Ishiba expressed hope for strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries.
5. The volume of mutual trade between Turkmenistan and Russia increased by 58% in the first 7 months of 2024 compared to the same period last year. This was reported by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk. According to him, the positive dynamics of trade between the two countries continues, which indicates strengthening economic ties and mutually beneficial cooperation. Overchuk also emphasized that for further growth, a draft program of economic cooperation between the governments of Russia and Turkmenistan for 2025-2027 has been developed, which is in the final stage of approval.
6. A series of seminars for school teachers and university professors on French language teaching methods has been completed at the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages. These courses, initiated by the country's Higher Language School, were held within the framework of a series of planned training programs that also include Chinese, English and Russian languages.

7. In Astana, over three thousand musicians simultaneously performed the instrumental piece “Balbyrauyn”, setting a national record. This achievement was officially registered in the Guinness World Records of Kazakhstan. The large-scale event took place in the Qazaqstan sports complex, where participants of the capital's dombra circles gathered.
8. In the US, a 12-year-old boy lost his sight due to a monotonous diet of fast food. A medical examination showed that the cause of optic nerve atrophy was a serious vitamin deficiency in the child's body. The situation was complicated by the fact that the teenager, who suffers from autism, experienced a strong fear of certain food textures. As a result, his diet consisted exclusively of burgers, French fries, donuts and packaged juices.

9. The Central Asian Football Association has been named the best regional association of the year in Asia for the second year in a row. The award ceremony took place at the annual gala ceremony in Seoul. The organization includes football federations of six countries: Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. The headquarters of the Association is located in Dushanbe.
