At a meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov said that the state budget is an important tool for economic planning. This year, significant funds were allocated for the development of education, healthcare and culture, as well as for the construction of industrial and social infrastructure, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that 67,8 percent of the allocated investments were directed to the construction of production facilities, and 32,2 percent to social facilities. This ensured the targeted use of budget funds. The budget revenue increased due to economic reforms, innovative development and growth of the private sector.
It was also announced that from January 1 of the new year, salaries, pensions and stipends will be increased by 10 percent.
