On September 19, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held a meeting with the regional coordinator of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) for Central Asia Zeynal Hajiyev.
The parties, having exchanged views on current issues of cooperation, noted the importance of implementing international norms on migration management in national legislation and the effective implementation of migration legislation in practice, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
Issues of improving and updating the contractual and legal partnership were also discussed.
In conclusion, the interlocutors emphasized their mutual interest in further developing cooperation.
