Representatives of the State Customs Service paid a study visit to Latvia.
As reported by “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”, the visit was organized by the Border Management Assistance Program in Central Asia (BOMCA 10).
The purpose of the visit is to exchange best practices and explain the practical application of the transit procedure using various modes of transport and the procedure of international road transport (TIR).
Along with their Turkmen colleagues, customs officials from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan, responsible for developing a national strategy in the area of transit, took part in the visit, the source notes.
