1. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dragon Oil Saeed Al Tayer. During the conversation, current issues of bilateral cooperation in the fuel and energy sector, as well as prospects for increasing oil and gas production and processing, were discussed. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized Turkmenistan's readiness to consider new proposals to expand the partnership.
2. On behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the Chairperson of the Mejlis Dunyagozel Gulmanova accepted credentials from the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Cambodia to Turkmenistan Sok Chea. On behalf of the head of state, Gulmanova congratulated the ambassador on his appointment and wished him success in fulfilling his diplomatic mission. The diplomat was informed about the priorities of Turkmenistan's domestic policy and the prospects for bilateral cooperation.
3. The Mary velayat Museum of History and Local Lore has acquired a unique exhibit – a gold Abbasid dinar dating back to the VIII - X centuries AD. The valuable coin weighing 4,27 grams was donated to the museum by Nurmuhammed Babayev, a resident of the village of Zahmet in the Turkmenkala etrap. The gold Abbasid dinar is not just a coin, but an important historical artifact reflecting the heyday of one of the greatest empires in the Islamic world. The Abbasid Caliphate, founded in the VIII century, stretched from Spain to India, and its gold currency symbolized the power and prosperity of the state. Museum specialists plan to conduct a detailed analysis of the dinar, compare it with other known samples, and possibly make new discoveries about the life and culture of the region during the Abbasid Caliphate.
4. Online ticket purchase service for intercity bus routes is available in Turkmenistan. The process of purchasing a ticket online is quite simple. Users need to go to the e.gov.tm portal, in the “Intercity bus tickets” section, indicate the departure and arrival points, select the travel date and seat on the bus. The cost of tickets varies depending on the route. For example, a bus ticket from Ashgabat to Turkmenbashy for an adult costs 65 manat, and for a child under 13 - 32.50 manat.
5. Currently, a number of Korean companies are participating in Turkmenistan's infrastructure breakthroughs. However, many more Korean entities are expressing great interest in being present in the prosperous Turkmen market. This was stated by the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Turkmenistan Ji Kyu-Taek. The diplomat noted that recently there has been a very high growth in both economic and cultural-humanitarian cooperation between the two states. 8. The 11th FIBA 3x3 World Championship will start in Debrecen, Hungary, where the Turkmenistan women's national team under 18 will take part. Director of FC “Dostluk Yyldyzlar” Rustem Esenov shared details of the organization of the tournament: “Our primary goal was to attract parents' attention to their children through football.
