Representatives of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly and three universities of the country took part in the Baikal Youth Forum, which was held from August 16 to 19 on the shores of Lake Baikal in the Republic of Buryatia, Russian Federation.
The forum was dedicated to the Sustainable Development Goals, and was attended by 300 young people from 7 regions of Russia and 13 countries, reports «Turkmenistan: Golden Age».
The participants included leaders and activists of youth public organizations, young state and municipal employees, students, representatives of creative professions, and entrepreneurs.
The program of the Baikal Forum was filled with communication with famous people, exchange of experience, new acquaintances, and development of their own projects. For three days, international youth teams worked at 5 different sites in such areas as patriotism, volunteerism, culture and art, media, and management.
The forum delegates also took part in seminars, trainings, business games, master classes with leading federal and regional experts in the field of state youth policy, in intercultural communications and meetings with public opinion leaders, the source notes.
