On July 19, an important meeting for representatives of the logistics industry was held in Ashgabat, organized by the logistics company Gama together with the insurance company Resmi Kepil. The event was dedicated to the key role of insurance in the cargo transportation industry.

The main topic of discussion was the need to insure cargo and transport risks as an integral element of any logistics operation. Meeting participants reviewed the different types of risks carriers face, including weather delays, technical failures, and cargo damage or loss.

During the event, four main types of insurance in the logistics sector were examined in detail:

- cargo insurance

- carrier (forwarder) liability insurance

- vehicle insurance

- health insurance for drivers traveling abroad

Particular attention was paid to issues of contract law in logistics and cargo insurance. Participants also discussed common mistakes and received recommendations for reducing risks.

The organizers emphasized that insurance in the field of cargo transportation is not only protection against unforeseen risks, but also a strategic element of sustainable business.
