Netflix presents “Resurrection Cars”, a reboot of the legendary car tuning show “Pimp My Ride”. This is reported by pravilamag.ru.
The project will now be helmed by the charismatic comedian and actor Chris Redd, and not the rapper Xzibit, as it was before.
Viewers can enjoy 8 fast-paced 40-minute episodes where Chris and his team of craftsmen “help deserving owners transform their beloved beat-up cars into roadworthy masterpieces”.
The creators of the project promise to preserve the spirit of the original show, but at the same time add fresh ideas, modern technologies and current culture to it.
Resurrection Cars premieres July 24 on Netflix.
The show “Pimp My Ride” aired from 2004 to 2007 on MTV. The project won the hearts of viewers around the world and spawned many international adaptations.
