On June 1, a regular meeting of the Council of Elders at the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care was held. The event was attended by the Vice President of the Foundation and members of the Council representing all regions of the country, TDH reports.
The agenda included a discussion of the Fund’s activities for the first half of 2024, the work of the Council of Elders and other key issues.
The speakers emphasized that Turkmenistan pays special attention to comprehensive support for children. This tradition, which dates back centuries, continues successfully today.
The charitable foundation, created to support the younger generation and restore the health of children in need of care, is constantly expanding the scope of its activities.
At the meeting, the growth of the international prestige of the Foundation was noted. Proof of this is the recently held forum dedicated to the humanitarian initiatives of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, where the Foundation was awarded a certificate for its contribution to helping children in need and the implementation of the basic principle of the 2030 Agenda “no one will be left behind.”
The measures implemented in the regions were also examined in detail. Representatives of all velayats provided detailed information about the work being carried out on the ground.
