On the eve of the International Children's Day, a ceremony was held in the Magtymguly etrap to commission a new modern children's recreation center “Arkadagly nesiller”, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.

As is known, according to the results of the annually held traditional competition, the Magtymguly etrap of the Balkan velayat became the winner in 2022 and, in accordance with the Order of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, was awarded a cash prize of 1 million USD.

An entertainment center for children was built and equipped with these funds.

The opening ceremony was attended by deputies of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, members of the velayat halk maslahaty, representatives of the velayat and city hyakimliks, public organizations, respected elders, and residents of the etrap.

The recreation center was built in accordance with modern requirements and represents such a popular format as family leisure. The territory of the Center compactly houses a variety of attractions, an arcade, a cafe, a children's toy store and others. There are comfortable gazebos and benches for visitors, surrounded by greenery and flowers.

The distinguished builders of the facility were presented with memorable gifts on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan.

Creative teams prepared a festive program for the guests. The performances of the bagshy-sazandars added bright colors.

Let us remind that the hyakimlik of the Balkan velayat began construction of a children's entertainment center in the Magtymguly etrap in 2023.
