Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov held a meeting with the Ambassador of Latvia to Turkmenistan Reinis Troksa, the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reports. During the negotiations, the parties reviewed the current state and prospects for further development of cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
Particular attention was paid to the issues of intensifying economic and humanitarian cooperation. The possibility of holding a meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, organizing mutual business missions and cultural events was discussed. Ways to expand partnerships in the field of education were also considered.
During the meeting, there was also a constructive exchange of views on current issues on the international agenda of mutual interest.
