Chairman of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan Dunyagozel Gulmanova held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Turkmenistan Azizbek Madmarov. The main topic of the conversation was a discussion of the prospects for the further development of Turkmen-Kyrgyz interparliamentary cooperation, the Mejlis website reports.
During the meeting, the parties emphasized that deepening bilateral parliamentary ties would help strengthen Turkmen-Kyrgyz relations as a whole.
The interlocutors also noted the importance of maintaining interstate interaction through parliamentary diplomacy, which will enhance bilateral cooperation in the trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
