On April 13, 2024, an accident occurred on a cable car in Antalya, Turkey, which claimed the life of one person and left several injured, reported belnovosti.by.
The cable car cabin, which was following the route from Konyaalti beach, fell from a height of 605 meters for unknown reasons, falling down.
As a result of the incident, one person died and seven more received injuries of varying severity.
According to eyewitnesses, before the cabin fell, a loud bang was heard, followed by strong shaking.
Rescue services immediately arrived at the scene of the emergency, evacuating passengers from other cabins. At the time of the accident, there were 184 people in 25 cable car cars.
