In the Lebap velayat of Turkmenistan, large-scale work is underway to gasify new settlements, writes Asman news. The region has spent 18.4 million manats of capital investments, which is 2.4 times higher than the annual plan.
The capital construction department of the Lebapgazüpjünçilik management laid about 40 kilometers of gas pipelines of various pressures. As part of the state program, a gas pipeline with a length of 4.5 kilometers was built in Turkmenabat, and more than 2.2 kilometers in the gengeshlik of Akgala, Sayat etrap. Thanks to this, more than 1,600 new households in the velayat gained access to natural gas.
To date, the number of households using “blue fuel” in the region has reached 213 thousand. Department specialists ensure uninterrupted gas supply.
In 2024, it is planned to disburse more than 8 million manats of public investment and lay 38.5 kilometers of new gas pipelines in villages and cities of the velayat.
