An exhibition of works by Turkmen artists dedicated to the Novruz holiday opened at the Art Exhibition Center of the capital.
The presented works of art in paints, tapestries and ceramics reflect the theme of spring, the beginning of a new and wonderful period, reports the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.
The spring holiday “Novruz” is one of the most beloved holidays in the East. This beautiful holiday was given to people by nature, replacing the winter cold with the gentle warm sun.
The exhibition features paintings by Natalia Kalugina, Olga Barysheva, Tylla Poltaeva, Sheker Joraeva, Dilber Pirmuhammedova, Govher Babayeva, Sulgun Gurbandurdyeva, works by ceramist Aitach Dashaeva and others.
The paintings that won prizes at the last exhibition-competition for International Women's Day on March 8 are also displayed here, the source notes.
