Today in Ashgabat, a meeting was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the Chinese delegation led by the Deputy Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC) Hao Mingjing.
The parties, having discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral interaction, noted an integrated approach to the development of Turkmen-Chinese relations.
The role of contacts between the heads of the two states, as well as the interaction of governments within the framework of the “Program of cooperation between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Government of the PRC for 5 years (2021-2025)” was especially emphasized.
The parties noted the relevance of mutual political consultations, as well as active inter-party and inter-parliamentary ties between the two countries.
The parties emphasized the achieved high level of trade, economic, cultural ties, as well as interaction in the field of education and sports.
In conclusion, the parties confirmed the importance of further comprehensive expansion of the Turkmen-Chinese partnership, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
