1. The pace of work in the agricultural sector and regions of the country was discussed at a working meeting held on the digital system by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. After listening to the reports, the head of state noted the importance of compliance with agricultural technology standards when carrying out seasonal field work. The President of Turkmenistan also instructed the hyakims of the velayats to ensure that celebrations on the occasion of the New Year are held at a high organizational level, an abundance of food products in retail outlets at affordable prices and timely payment of wages.

2. The aviation departments of Turkmenistan and Japan discussed the establishment of direct flights between the countries and signed a corresponding document. The meeting was held within the framework of a four-day visit to Japan of the Turkmen economic delegation led by the Chairman of the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan Rahimberdy Jepbarov.

3. Turkmen culture was presented during a gala concert dedicated to the 30th anniversary of TURKSOY, which was held at UNESCO headquarters in Paris. The concert brought together about 70 artists from 7 countries on one stage. Over 1,5 thousand people attended the event. Turkmen artists performed the folk dance “Kushtdepdi”, which has ancient roots and perfectly illustrates the continuity of traditions in the modern art of Turkmenistan.

The general agent of “Turkmenistan” Airlines in the Russian Federation answered frequently asked questions from passengers regarding connecting flights Moscow - Ashgabat - Bangkok and Kazan - Ashgabat - Bangkok. As reported, the passenger's baggage is processed immediately to the final destination. To receive a boarding pass for the Ashgabat-Bangkok flight, the passenger will need to go to the transfer counter at the Ashgabat airport. Another important note: passengers do not need to take a PCR test to fly to Bangkok.

5. The Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan will organize a student Olympiad in mathematical modeling in February 2024. The Olympiad, dedicated to the Day of Diplomatic Workers, will be held on February 12. All interested students of Turkmen universities are invited to take part in it, regardless of the field of study.

6. The production company OGM Pictures has officially announced the renewal of the popular Turkish series “Kingfisher” for a third season. Rumors about the continuation of the project appeared back in August, but now they have received official confirmation. Fans of the series associate the producers' decision with the return to the project of screenwriter Mehmet Barış Günger, who was very fond of the audience. According to rumors, the maestro is already making changes to the upcoming episodes of the second season.

7. Russian dancer and showman Dmitry Krasilov died in Moscow at the age of 29. The day before, the artist complained of feeling unwell and left work. And later he stopped communicating. Dmitry Krasilov starred in more than 40 films. The actor gained wide popularity thanks to his participation in the fourth season of the show “Dancing”.

8. All participants in the semi-final matches of the Turkmenistan Futsal Cup have become known. Based on the results of 3 rounds in the group stage, the fight for the trophy will continue between “Kopetdag” – “Gumrukchi” and “Gara Altyn” – “Denizchi”. The matches of this stage are scheduled for December 19. The decisive meeting will be held on December 20. 9. “Ahal” players achieved victory over “Merv” in the postponed match of the 21st round of the Turkmenistan championship. The meeting in Mary ended with a score of 1:0 in favor of Serdar Geldiyev’s team. “Ahal” took the lead through the efforts of Shohrat Soyunov, who scored from eleven meters in the 37th minute. This goal was the only one in the match. Last year's Major League champion scored 35 points in 22 matches and intensified the fight for bronze medals.
