On October 23, a meeting was held in Ashgabat between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mahri Bashimova and the Ambassador of the European Union to Turkmenistan Beata Peksa, the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry reports.
During the meeting, a detailed exchange of views was held regarding current issues of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the EU, as well as the prospects for further fruitful partnership in the context of the implementation of important projects, especially in the field of trade and economic relations, transport, energy, as well as in the field of education.
In addition, the effective joint activities of the parties within the framework of the “European Union – Central Asia” cooperation format were noted.
