President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov takes part in a meeting of the Council of Heads of CIS Member States in a narrow format, reports sputnik.kg.
The meeting is taking place at the “Ala-Archa” residence in Bishkek under the chairmanship of the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov. The meeting began after the official welcoming ceremony and joint photography.
The heads of eight states - Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan - are taking part in the meeting.
Following the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the CIS member states, a package of documents is expected to be signed, after which the heads of state will make a statement to the press.
